So, you need to reset the physical server? That's a shame.

  2. Go to the [Rapidswitch Control Panel]
  3. Go to the relevant server, select Power Cycle and you should be presented with:
  4. Click Request Power Cycle if you believe there's nothing else you can do.
  5. Keep an eye on the KVM session to ensure it boots up correctly. It make take up to 30 minutes for the request to be carried out.
  6. Log in as your normal user on the console.
  7. su to root.
  8. Ensure that all domUs are starting up correctly by examining xm list and possibly xm console. Correlate this list with the currently active Customers.
  9. Send an email only to affected customers with the title GigaTux - Unscheduled Outage to customers. There should be a template in the Templates folder in the webmail.
  10. Text/ring Marc Warne again to let him know if the server is up and running again.
