This happens if a user's page should be outputting content as it goes along, but it doesn't (and you might only get output after processing has completed or it times out).

We use FastCGI on the cPanel servers and this implements its own buffer. We thus need to disable this for the user.

On the cPanel server, create a new file /usr/local/apache/conf/userdata/std/2/username/domainname.com/fastcgi.conf with the following contents:

 <IfModule mod_fcgid.c>
   FcgidOutputBufferSize 0
   FcgidBusyTimeout 7200
   FcgidProcessLifeTime 7200
   FcgidIOTimeout 7200
 </IfModule>

Then run /usr/local/cpanel/bin/apache_conf_distiller --update followed by usr/local/cpanel/bin/build_apache_conf. Finally, restart apache by typing service httpd restart.

Additionally, you might need to force this to avoid the Varnish cache. Change /etc/varnish/vhost.exclude.vcl to add lines something like:

 if (req.http.host == "hostname.com" || req.http.host == "www.hostname.com") {
   return(pipe);
 }

And then run /usr/local/varnish/bin/varnishreload.sh.
