SFR's IPv4 is currently being unreliable due to congestion.
We are routing all traffic via IPv6 and SSH on a SOCKS5 proxy to Psiren.
- Configure Tun2socks PPA on Ubuntu
- Setup Tun2socks
- Build the full badvpn-master on Psiren for UDP proxying
The commands we are using on our home router are:
- echo 1 > /proc/sys/net/ipv4/ip_forward
- iptables -t nat -A POSTROUTING -o eno1 -j MASQUERADE
- iptables -t nat -A POSTROUTING -o tun0 -j MASQUERADE
- iptables -P FORWARD ACCEPT
- sudo ip tuntap add dev tun0 mode tun user marc
- sudo ifconfig tun0 10.0.0.1 netmask 255.255.255.0
- badvpn-tun2socks --tundev tun0 --netif-ipaddr 10.0.0.2 --netif-netmask 255.255.255.0 --socks-server-addr 127.0.0.1:8080 --udpgw-remote-server-addr 127.0.0.1:7300
- route add default gw 10.0.0.2 metric 6 # 6 is a lower metric than the regular default gateway
And on Psiren:
- /home/marc/badvpn-master/udpgw --listen-addr 127.0.0.1:7300
