Linux Mint 13 (Maya) Available on any Linux VPS
Hot on the heels of yesterday's Mageia 2 release, GigaTux is proud to announe that Linux Mint 13 (Maya) is now available for automatic install on any GigaTux Linux VPS in the UK, USA and Germany. GigaTux has chosen to stick with the productive, stable and mature MATE 1.2 desktop although users are welcome to install Cinnamon if they wish. Linux Mint 13 is Long Term Support release and it will be supported until April 2017.
Linux Mint is a designed for usability and ease of installation, particularly for users with no previous Linux experience. It is available in several editions with different codebases, nearly all of which are based on Ubuntu,which is itself based on Debian.
